Valentine’s just around the corner and are you the kind who has no idea what to get your better half? Are you panicking, sweat beads in your forehead, rummaging through the few online sites Lanka has, trying to find something your man is going to like? If you are on the lookout for the perfect gift for you boyfriend/husband/dad or any other guy, you’re in luck! Here are some perfect gift ideas to suit any taste and budget- whether he’s a movie lover, a sport jockey, if he has a sweet tooth or prefers savoury, we’ve got you sorted. These last minute ideas are going to make his V-day an extra special one!
- Tickets for a Deadpool screening
This is one movie that’s got the whole town talking. People were lining up yesterday for the premier of Deadpool and everyone’s excited to see what Marvel has planned for this year. I know what you’re thinking. “Really? A movie on V-day? That’s what I think is extra special for your loved one?” Well, not entirely. The tickets can be a gift, to go for the screening tomorrow or some other day is up to you to decide .This is both a cheap and quick fix. You can get your tickets via tickets.lk as well. And maybe, if you do want to add the cherry on top, you can get him some branded Marvel merchandise. This is the perfect way to make your movie-fanatic husband/boyfriend so very happy!

In case your guy prefers sandalwood over tobacco and spice, the best thing to do is get him a voucher from either of the perfume stores, and I can guarantee they do have a great collection. If you have a budget as big, go online, look through a couple of the online electronic items sites and pick what you think your man’s going to like the best.
Tip: Since you would be spending quite a load of money, make sure you know what he likes best. It’s not worth it buying something hoping he might like it. Look out for credit card deals and store promos while you’re at it!
- Get him a Time-Teller
What better gift to get him that a watch! Something he’s going to have with him for a long time and probably, something he’s going to wear to work every single day. Get him a watch! And unlike an electronic item, you can never go wrong with a watch. If he doesn’t like it now, he’s bound to grow into liking it! - Make it an at-home-date-night
Make him his favourite meal, it’s not the complexity of the meal that matters but the fact that you took some time off to make him something he loves to eat. Trust me, a candle lit dinner at home with a glass of red wine beside you beats an expensive dinner at a fancy restaurant. This is the kind of option I would love. Tell him you love him, talk about the old days, when the both of you were kids and deeply in love. Tell him what you like the most about him. Tell him why he’s so special. You are bound to make it his best Valentines so far!
Tip: Make the bit that comes after the super romantic dinner extra special too… Put some thought on what you want to do that’s bound to drive him insane. After all, V-day only comes once a year!
