Huawei, the fastest growing smartphone in Sri Lanka, announced the availability of the all new Huawei P8 Lite, Honor 4X and Honor G Play in Golden colour in the local market. The three smartphones are catered to the lower and mid-range smartphone market offering a distinctive choice for a smartphone owner. The Huawei P8 Lite is available at LKR 31,999, Honor 4X LTE at LKR 33,999 and Honor G Play at LKR 27,999 and comes with an all inclusive two year Singer warranty.
Huawei Smartphones in Sri Lanka is fast emerging as the distinctive leader in a highly competitive market environment. In 1H 2015, Huawei Consumer Business Group globally shipped a total of 48.2 million smartphones, representing a year-on-year increase of 39%, while global smartphone demand has only recorded a 7% growth in the same period. Shipment for the mid-to-high end category recorded a year-on-year increase of 70%, representing 31% of the total handset shipment and 42.9% of total income. The income of the mid-to-high end category increases 388% while the profit of this category representing 44% of the total profit.

The Huawei P8 Lite sports a 5 inch HD display, powered by a 1.5GHz and 1GHz quad-core processor alongside a 2GB RAM. The Huawei Honor 4X is a 4GLTE smartphone which caters to the mid mid-range category, sports a 5.50-inch HD 720×1280 display powered by 1.2GHz Octa Core processor alongside 2GB RAM and 13MP rear and 5MP front camera. The Huawei Honor G Play is designed as “A Piece of Art” that truly depicts Ingenuity. The device includes an Android 4.4 KitKat OS and is built on Huawei Emotion UI 3.0, with an octa-core 1.2 GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 2500mAh battery and a 5-inch HD touch screen.
