  • Thalapath 500g
  • Pepper 2 tsp
  • Chilli powder 4 tsp
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Cardamom 2
  • Ginger 1/2 inch
  • Cloves 3
  • Goraka 3 pcs
  • Onion
  • Rampa
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • Cinnamon 1/2 inch
  • Green chilli 1
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Water


  1. Cut and clean thalapath.
  2. Grind pepper, garlic, cloves, cardamom, ginger and goraka. If it’s difficult to grind, add little water.
  3. Heat a saucepan and roast chilli powder.
  4. Heat oil. Add onion, rampa and curry leaves.
  5. Add fish, roasted chilli powder and the paste.
  6. Add cinnamon, green chilli, salt and water.
  7. Cook 15- 20 minutes.
