Tempered Capsicum with Onion | Cooking with Aunty D

Capsicum 5 Nos

Sera Coconut Oil 2 Tbsp

Garlic 2 Cloves

Maldive Fish 2 Tbsp

Salt 1/2 Tsp + 1/2 Tsp

Onion 3 Large

Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp + 1/4 Tsp

Chilli Flakes 1 Tbsp + 1 Tsp

Tomato 1 Large

Curry Leaves

Pandan Leaves (Rampe)


  1. Heat oil and add curry leaves and pandan leaves, garlic, Maldives fish, salt, onion, turmeric powder, chilli flakes and make the tempered onion.
  2. Remove seeds from the capsicum and fill with tempered onion.
  3. Heat the same oil again in a flat pan and add stuffed capsicum, curry leaves, pandan leaves (Rampe), turmeric powder, chilli flakes, tomato,onion.
  4. Cover with the lid and cook 10 -15 minutes under low flame.
