Lankan Crab Curry

Ingredients:

  • Crab 500g
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Fenugreek ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Curry leaves/rampa
  • Green chilies 3
  • Chili flakes 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Capsicums 2
  • Onion 1
  • Cinnamon ½ inch
  • Coconut milk 1 ½ cups
  • Moringa leaves

Method: 

1. Remove the shell and clean the crabs.
2. Heat oil and add crabs.
3. Then add salt, fenugreek, turmeric powder, garlic, curry leaves/rampa, green chilies, chili flakes, soy sauce, chili powder, and cinnamon.
4. Allow this to cook for 5 minutes
5. Then add capsicum, onion, and coconut milk
6. Cook for a further 10 minutes
7. Add maringa leaves and remove from flame after 2 – 3 minutes
