Kulfi

This frozen dessert from our neighbouring country is sure to thrill your sweet-tooth! 

Ingredients:

  • Full fat milk 2 cups
  • Milk (to mix with cornflour) 1 cup
  • Cornflour 2 tsp
  • Brown sugar 1/4 cup
  • Cream 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom powder/ Cardamoms 2
  • Pistachio/ Nuts

Method:

  1. Bring 2 cups of milk to boil. Allow milk to boil for 10 minutes on a medium flame and keep stirring till the milk gets thicker.
  2. After 10 minutes, add sugar and boil for another 10 minutes. Add cornstarch and another cup of milk.
  3. Add cardamom powder and nuts (optional).
  4. Make sure there are no lumps in the milk. 
  5. Pour this mixture into kulfi cups and freeze for 12 hours or overnight.
