Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

This handmade delight comprises a silky smooth peanut butter filling surrounded by a chocolate mix of you choice. These aren’t just pretty cute, they’re also a must-try melt in the mouth experience for all chocoholics! 

Ingredients-

For Chocolate Layer:
2 cups milk chocolate and 1/4 cup dark/semisweet chocolate (add more or less to make dark or milk)
1 1/2 tbsp Creamy Peanut Butter
Pinch of salt

For the Peanut Butter Filling:
1 cup creamy peanut butter
4 1/2 tsp butter, softened
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:-

For Peanut butter filling- In a small bowl, combine 1 cup creamy peanut butter, butter, icing sugar and salt until smooth. Microwave briefly if necessary until soft and smooth.
For chocolate layer- Again in a microwave very briefly melt the chocolate, peanut butter and salt together. Stir until smooth.

Drop teaspoonfuls of chocolate mixture into paper-lined miniature muffin cups. Top each chocolate layer with a 1/2 teaspoon of peanut butter mixture; top with another 1/2 teaspoonful of chocolate mix. No refrigeration between layers is necessary.

Once all the layers are complete, refrigerate until set. Store in an airtight container. Best made with more milk chocolate and less dark 🙂
