Placing Sri Lanka on the culinary map once again, Sri Lanka’s internationally recognized restaurant Ministry of Crab has been ranked 35th in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants at the awards ceremony held in Macau.
A collaboration between renowned chef Dharshan Munidasa and former cricketers Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardena, Ministry of Crab long since expanded from their main location at Dutch Hospital in Colombo, with branches in Shanghai, Manila, and Mumbai!
Specializing in crab, this fine dining seafood establishment has made its mark over the years, this being the second time it made the top 50 list! In 2017, the restaurant ranked 29th in the list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. Dharshan Munidasa’s other restaurant Nihonbashi and Ministry of Crab are the only two Sri Lankan restaurants that have made this list! The very definition of quality food, Ministry of Crab is a must-experience fine dining culinary adventure.
