Legendary Comic Icon Stan Lee Passes Away

In a devastating blow for Marvel and comic fans across the globe, legendary icon Stan Lee passed away hours ago at the age of 95.

According to reports, Lee was rushed to hospital Monday morning and his cause of death has not yet been released to the public. 

Well loved for his work over the years, Lee was known as one of America’s ‘most prolific storytellers’. With an interest in comics from a young age, Lee wrote his first superhero story Captain America No. 3 before the age of 19.

From comics to adaptations on the big screen, Stan Lee dominated the industry and was known for his hilarious cameos in movies as well!

Stan Lee was many things, including an American comic-book writer, editor, film executive producer, actor, and publisher. He was formerly editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics and later its publisher and chairman. 

But most importantly, Stan Lee was loved across the world by millions of fans for bringing to life some of the best comic book superheroes and characters, including Spider-Man, the Hulk, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther, the X-men, and more, inspiring entire generations to come.
