Tempered Potatoes is the spicy dish you need to make your Lankan lunch absolute perfection! Get cooking!
- Potatoes 500 g
- Onion (Large) 2
- Green Chillies 3
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Turmeric 1/4 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Chilli flakes 1 tbsp
- Oil 2 tsp
- Maldive fish 2 tsp
- Curry leaves & rampa
- Clean and cut potatoes into small cubes.
- Then fry potato cubes until light golden brown.
- Heat oil in a separate saucepan and add green chillies, curry leaves & rampa, garlic, turmeric, maldive fish, chilli flakes and onion. Mix well.
- Add fried potato cubes. Mix well and cover with lid. Cook for 10 minutes on a very low flame.
