When eating healthy and hearty doesn’t get any easier than this! Low carb and full of goodness, this dish has texture, crunch, meaty flavors and creates fireworks on your tongue! Marinade what you must in minutes, let it sit, and when you crave something quick after a long day this is it 🙂
Teriyaki Beef Ingredients:
500g Steak Meat sliced thin
2 tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1/2 tbsp Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
1 tsp sliced Ginger
2 tsp finely chopped Garlic
1/2 tbsp Honey
Marinade for an hour or overnight.
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
1 cup chopped Spring Onions
3 Dried Red Chillies halved
1 Green Chili finely chopped
Coriander leaves chopped
2 Tbsp Sesame/Vegetable Oil
Heat oil in wok on low heat. Put in sesame seeds, toss for a minute until golden. Increase flame and then add chopped spring onions. Toss on high flame for a minute and then add beef with marinade. Keep tossing the meat until cooked through. This should take only 5-7 minutes. Lastly sprinkle chopped coriander on top.
300-500g Cauliflower florets only, stems removed.
1 tsp Rice Seasoning of choice, packaged or homemade if you prefer (there are different chinese, italian and indian seasonings available in supermarkets used for rice)
Pre-heat oven to 190’C. Put cauliflower and seasoning with some salt and pepper in pulser. Pulse cauliflower florets until slightly chunky, or to the size you prefer. Lay this out evenly on a baking tray, drizzle some olive oil, toss through and bake for 15 minutes turning in between.
Finally add some cauliflower rice to a bowl and layer the meat mixture over it to enjoy a healthy. wholesome meal.
