Avurudu is just around the corner, and it’s time to get started on those delicious New Year recipes!
Check out how to make some homemade Kokis below.
- White rice flour 750g
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Egg 1
- Sugar 1/8 cup
- Thick coconut milk
- Salt 1 tsp
- Fortune Coconut Oil
- Add turmeric powder, egg, sugar to the white flour and mix well.
- Then add a little coconut milk and make a paste.
- Keep it for 30 minutes
- Then add salt, coconut milk again and make a batter which isn’t too thick or runny
- Then heat the Kokis mold with fortune coconut oil and dip it into the Kokis batter. Then dip it into the heated oil.
- Fry until golden brown.
