Potato Wedges | Cooking with Aunty D

Ingredients: 

Potatoes 500g

Salt 3/4 tsp

All-purpose flour 1 cup

Cornflour 1/2 cup

Paprika 1 1/2 tsp

Pepper 1/2 tsp

Garlic powder 1/2 tsp

Mix herbs 1/2 tsp

Water 1/2 cup

Oil (To fry)

Method: 
  1. Cut potatoes into 4 pieces. Add water into a pan followed by potatoes, 1/2 tsp of salt and boil until cooked. Remove potatoes from pan once done.
  2. Add all-purpose flour into a bowl, followed by cornflour, paprika, pepper, garlic powder, mix herbs and water and mix well into a paste.
  3. Finally, dip the boiled potatoes in the paste and shallow fry them until golden brown and remove when done.
