Gulab Jamun | Cooking with Aunty D

Satisfy your sweet tooth with this quick and easy Gulab Jamun recipe which is sure to be a hit!




Sera White Coconut Oil

Milk Powder 1 cup

All-Purpose Flour 1/4 cup

Ghee 1 tbsp

Milk  1 tbsp

Curd/ Yoghurt 2 tbsp

Baking soda 1/4 tsp


Sugar Syrup:

Sugar  1 1/4 cups

Water  1 1/2 cups

Cardamom  4 pods

Rose essence  3 drops



  1. Add flour, baking soda, milk, yoghurt (curd) and ghee to milk powder and make balls.
  2. Add water, sugar, cardamom and bring to boil. Make sugar syrup, off the flame and add rose essence.
  3. Fry Gulab Jamun balls using Sera White Coconut Oil until golden brown and add them to warm sugar syrup. Keep 5-8 hours.
  4. Can garnish with sliced pistachios.
