This delectable ball of deep fried goodness is just too easy to whip up and melts down your throat a treat! Crunchy on the outside and flavorful within you’ll find this exciting just cutting into 😉

2 cups Mashed Potato
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 cup Spring Onions finely chopped
Cheddar Cheese Cubes (iced)
1 Egg  beaten
Panko Crumbs
Oil for deep frying
Boil and mash potatoes and measure out 2 cups. Add 1 tsp salt, 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 cup spring onions finely chopped and mix into the mashed potato. Cut Cheddar cheese into cubes. Beat an egg with a pinch of salt and pour some panko crumbs into a bowl. Set aside. Take a little mashed potato mix, flatten on palm and place a cheese cube inside. Fold over and using your fingers form into a ball, with a cheese cube covered in the middle. Do this with remaining mix and cheese cubes. Heat oil up on medium-low heat.
Now dip each potato-cheese ball into beaten egg and then drop into panko crumbs and shake until coated well. Drop into oil (it should sizzle very gently) and deep fry until golden brown on both sides, turning over gently when one side is fried through. Drain on paper towel, serve immediately, cut right through and enjoy your Tater Onion Cheese Melting moment.
