Christmas Pie | Cooking with Aunty D

Oil 2 tsp

Big Onion 1 medium

Minced Chicken 350 g

Garlic Powder 1 tsp

Pepper 1 tsp

Salt 3/4 tsp

Boiled Potato 150 g

Boiled Carrot 150 g

All Purpose Flour 2 tbsp

Fresh Milk 1/4 cup

Pie Sheet

Pol Sambol


Egg Wash



1. In an oiled skillet pan, add chopped onions, minced chicken, garlic powder, pepper and salt.

2. After a good mix, proceed to add in boiled chopped potatoes and carrots and mix well.

3. Next, add all-purpose flour and milk into the mixture and mix well until all ingredients are combined.

4. Proceed to butter a baking tray before placing the pie sheet in it.

5. Transfer the minced chicken mixture to the pie sheet.

6. Add pol sambol and bacon on top.

7. Cover the pie with a second pie sheet.

8. Finally pop the pie into the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 180F.
