Chickpea Curry | Cooking with Aunty D

Chickpeas 250g

Water (to soak overnight and boil)

Oil 1 tbsp

Dry Red Chilli 5 nos

Curry Leaves and Rampa

Bombay Onion 1

Garlic 4 cloves

Mustard Seeds 1/4tsp

Turmeric Powder 1/3 tsp

Chilli Flakes 1 tsp

Curry Powder 1 tsp

Chilli Powder 1 tsp

Salt 1 tsp

Green Chilli 2 nos

Coconut Milk 1 1/2 cups


  1. Place chickpeas in water. Soak overnight.
  2. Add oil, dry red chilli, curry leaves, rampa, bombay onion, garlic, mustard seeds, turmeric powder, chilli flakes, curry powder, chilli powder, salt, green chilli and coconut milk. Cover with a lid.
