Cooking with Aunty D.
Beer just makes everything better, don’t you agree? Try out these delicious Beer battered Wedges to tingle your taste buds! Get frying!
Ingredients:
- Potatoes (Medium) 4
- Milk 1/4 cup
- Egg 1
- All purpose flour 1 cup
- Lion Beer 1/2 cup
- Olive Oil 1 tbsp
- Salt 3/4 tsp
- Paprika 1 tsp
- Pepper 1/2 tsp
- Oil for deep frying
Method:
- In a medium sized bowl, whisk flour, milk, egg, salt, oil, paprika and pepper until smooth. Stir in the beer.
- Microwave potatoes for 5 minutes and peel them.
- Cut potatoes into wedges.
- Add potatoes into the beer batter and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil and fry until golden brown.
