Anoka Abeyratne Elected for the Lead Position of the Royal Commonwealth Society

Lankan ladies achieving greatness once again! Sustainability activist and social entrepreneur Anoka Abeyratne is now the Environmental Lead for the Royal Commonwealth Society, becoming the first Sri Lankan to be elected.

Anoka, who is an alumnus of Bishop’s College, has over a decade of experience in environmental conservation and is a graduate of the Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge and the University of Colombo.

Her other accolades include being listed in Forbes 30 under 30, becoming the first female World Economic Forum New Champion of Sri Lanka and the youngest Commonwealth Youth Awardee.
