Fast pace, side stepping, Rugby action concluded on the 10th & 11th of October at the Racecourse International Rugby Grounds.
The top rugby sevens competition for teams in Asia, the 2015 Asia Rugby Sevens Series was organised by Asia Rugby, formerly the Asian Rugby Football Union. The 2015 men’s competition comprised of three legs – Qingdao, China (September 5-6), Bangkok, Thailand (September 26-27) and Colombo, Sri Lanka (October 10-11) – and the defending men’s champions Hong Kong ended up as Runner-up while Japan secured the title. Sri Lanka concluded as 3rd runner-up in the series.
The 2015 women’s series comprised two legs which were held concurrently with the men’s tournaments in China and Sri Lanka where Japan managed secured the title once again with Hong Kong being placed Runner-up.
